Welcome to the Details of Grandma’s Arrangements
We will continue to update this space with the full program & Obituary as it becomes available.
We especially want to lift up the name of God and give heartfelt thanks to Grandma’s beloved church family. Grandma devoted her life to the service of the Lord, and her faith was unwavering until the very end. Her church family embraced her with steadfast love—throughout her life, in her final days, and even now in this time of remembrance. Every detail of her homegoing has been lovingly guided, prayed over, and blessed by their care and devotion. We are deeply grateful.
We also wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rochdale Village community, Flushing Hospital, and the many food pantries where Grandma joyfully volunteered her time in service to others.
And with honor and reverence, we acknowledge and embrace every loved one she held dear across England, Jamaica, and around the world. Your love was part of her strength and her joy.

Order of Homegoing Services
The Celebration of Life will begin at 9:00 AM, as we gather to honor our beloved with prayer, song, and the Word of God.Immediately following the service, we will journey together to Pinelawn Memorial Park & Arboretum (see info below), where we will lay our loved one to rest in sacred ground.
Upon our return, we invite you to join us at the church for the Repast—a blessed time of fellowship, reflection, and thanksgiving for a life well lived.

Dear Family and Friends,
As we celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved Grandma a.k.a. Ms. Reid, Sister Reid, Mother Reid,...we want to share that she gently requested not to be viewed after her passing. In her faith and wisdom, she believed that her spirit had already returned home to the Lord, and she wished for us to remember her in light and love—just as she lived.
Let us honor her memory by cherishing the moments we shared, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely. Thank you for respecting her wishes and holding her spirit close in your hearts and prayers.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Heritage Memorial Chapel for their compassion, care, and unwavering support during this sacred time. Their kindness and professionalism have been a source of comfort as we honor the life and legacy of our beloved. May God bless them for the love they show to families in their time of need.
In 2018, they laid to rest our beloved Sister Reid's daughter, Collette Marriott.
